In May 2021 Specialty Family Foundation awarded SPY $180,000 to support their capacity-building efforts to operationalize diversity, equity, and inclusion through their Human Resources Department. This money will go directly to the hiring of Sr. HR Manager. Over the past 10 years, SPY has grown from a volunteer-based organization to an expert in the field with 90 staff members on board. To continue its impact in the community, SPY needed to strengthen its internal infrastructure whilst ensuring best practices for staff and continuing to reflect the community that they serve. Over the last few months, SPY has hired and onboarded 12 additional staff members and is looking to grow even more!
