Families and Individuals Received Support
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Specialty Family Foundation was unable to throw its annual Christmas party in 2020. The funds for the party were then diverted to four organizations: Homeboy Industries and St. Francis Center received $15,000 each and the Partners for Children South LA and St. Joseph’s Center received $5,000. Each of these amazing organizations used the money to help make the Holiday season much more special for their clients. Families received items such as turkeys and food for special dinners, gift cards, and toys for the kids. Homeboy Industries and St. Francis Center were also able to use the money to help clients pay for much-needed services like rent, utilities, and move-in fees. All-in-all SFF is proud to report the 2020 Christmas Starfish giving affected more than 700 families and individuals have a brighter Holiday season
