Students Received Tuition Assistance
In the belief that a Catholic education opens doors to dramatically increased opportunities for educationally at-risk students, Specialty Family Foundation, in honor of our founder the late Dr. James B. Peter, has provided scholarships to graduating 8th grade students to help bridge the gap many low-income families face struggling to pay for Catholic high school tuition. Since the inception of our James B. Peter (JBP) Memorial Scholarship Program in 2010, SFF has awarded roughly $3 million to 950 students attending 30 Los Angeles Catholic high schools. The Foundation remains proud of these students and the sacrifices their families make to provide them with the support they need to attend these schools.
